Tis the season, pumpkin season. We did our carvings on Conner's birthday this year and boy did they have a ton of seeds. That left us with only one option, Toasted Pumpkin Seeds! Here's how I do them and they are pretty darn amazing.
1) Separate seeds from the gunk and wash them
2) Boil them in about 4 to 6 cups of water with a few tsp of salt for 10 minutes.
3) Drain the seeds and put them on a baking sheet. Drizzle oil and spinkle with season salt.
4) Bake at 400° F until golden brown. This took my oven about 30 minutes. Stir them up every now and then so they get done all over.
More pumpkin fun to come.
